Redispersible Polymer Powder, i.e is RDP, a water soluble polymer made from ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) polymer through spray drying, it's designed for the construction industry to enhance the properties of dry mortar blends.
RDP powder is always combined with HPMC/HEMC and other additives to improve the properties and performance for the cement based or gypsum based mortar, such as better water-retention,open time,better work-ability, increasing adhesion to a variety of substrate and higher flexural strength and flexibility etc..
